College and Career Ministries
For those of you new to our group, our Sunday School class meets on the 3rd floor and we have some sort of breakfast food, juice, and coffee each week. We welcome you and hope to see you this Sunday!
On Thursday nights some of us go to a Bible study at 7pm at the BCM at Clemson. We also attend the 9:19 gathering of the FCA at Tillman Hall. We'd love to have you join us for one or both of these great times of fellowship. If you'd like more info, just contact Kevin.

One of our members, Lesley Dillard, recently returned from a mission trip.
Over Spring Break, I went to Los Trojes, Honduras with the Baptist Medical, Dental, and Mission International. We provided for the physical needs, such as medical and dental care, food, and clothing, as well as the spiritual needs of the people in this village. It was absolutely heartbreaking to take in the gorgeous mountains while looking at the shanties on the sides of these mountains. We saw so many children who were barefoot and malnourished. Some 5 and 6 month old babies only weighed 10 pounds. We also saw a man who had a bacterial infection that literally ate his nose off of his face. This would have been cured with an antibiotic in Ameria. I am absolutely ASTONISHED at how blessed I am to live in America where I have too many clothes to fit in my closet, I can eat whatever I want whenever I want it, and I am getting a college education. However, these people seemed to have a joy that comes with a simple life. They were so open to the Gospel. We had 127 salvations in the 3 days we had clinics. Also, women would come up and ask for Bibles. One of my favorite parts of the trip were the church services each night in Spanish. Though I had no clue what the people were saying when they were praying, I took comfort that God had no trouble understanding them. This trip taught me that if I am willing to get out of my comfort zone, God will truely bless me and use me. -- Lesley Dillard
