Seneca Baptist Afterschool & Summer Day Camp Director: April Graham At Seneca Baptist Church we are proud to have both an After School Program and a Summer Day Camp program for children from 1st grade to 6th grade. If you are looking for a positive Christian environment for your child to stay in during working hours, this is the place for you. In addition to the director , these programs are staffed by college students with a strong Christian background and experience working with children. Everyone who works for either of these programs has had a SLED background check. Our staff loves to interact with your child. We offer help with homework, play games, and plan art projects . We have access to a full gym, as well as computers, and supplies for homework. Unlike many other centers, our child to counselor ratio is 11 to 1. We are here to meet any need your child might have during your absence. Your child's safety and happiness are our first priority.  Our Summer Day Camp program is a wonderful place for your child to spend the summer. Each week of the summer is scheduled around a theme (example. Space, or 50's week). We have crafts, books, music , games and many other activities for the children to choose from here at the Activity Center. In addition to the planned activities here at the church, we also go on as many as 4 field trips per week. The children love swimming , bowling, roller skating, hiking and many other trips. We are one of the few centers in this area that let the children help to plan our summer activities. It is very important to us that your child enjoy their experience here at the church. Hours 7:30am-5:30pm Our schedule follows the public school schedule. Our program starts the first day school is out and runs until the last day of summer. However, we will be closed the week of July 4th. Price: $35.00 registration fee per family $70.00 per week for 1 child, each additional child is $60.00 each We only allow 30 children in this program and, because of this, children already enrolled have priority for spots in both of the programs. Afterschool Program A bus picks up children from Kellet, Northside, Code, Ravenal, and Seneca Middle School. A snack is provided every day and staff members make sure all homework is done. Hours: 2.30pm to 5.30pm We are closed any time school is out .
