& Summer Day Camp Director: April Graham Staff: Debra Farthing, Kevin Morrison, Tori Schiazza, & Joy Cobb At Seneca Baptist Church we are proud to have both an After School Program and a Summer Day Camp program for children from K-5 grade to 6th grade. Our program offers a positive Christian environment for your child to stay in during working hours. In addition to the director, these programs are staffed by adults and college students with a strong Christian background and experience working with children. Everyone who works for either of these programs has had a SLED background check and is a member of a local church. Our staff loves to interact with your child. We offer help with homework, play games, and plan art projects . We have access to a full gym, as well as computers, and supplies for homework. Unlike many other centers, our child to teacher ratio is 11 to 1. We are here to meet any need your child might have during your absence.  Our Summer Day Camp program is a wonderful place for your child to spend the summer. Each week of the summer is scheduled around a theme (example. Space, or 50's week). We have a funfilled calendar of events planned each summer. We have crafts, books, music , games and many other activities for the children to choose from here at the Activity Center. In addition to the planned activities here at the church, we also go on as many as 4 field trips per week. The children love VBS, swimming , bowling, movies, Ice skating, roller skating, hiking and many other trips. We are one of the few centers in this area that let the children help to plan our summer activities. It is very important to us that your child enjoy their experience here at the church. Rita Green, the Children's Minister for SBC, will be leading a weekly program called TeamKid each Monday at 1:00 PM. This chapel will be fun as well as informative. $75.00 per week for 1 child, $140.00 for two. $17.00 daily We only allow 30 children in this program and, because of this, children already enrolled have priority for spots in both of the programs. Afterschool Program A bus picks up children from Blue Ridge, Northside, Ravenal, and Seneca Middle School. A snack is provided every day and staff members make sure all homework is done. Hours: 2.30pm to 5.30pm We are closed any time school is out . After School Prices: $35.00 registration fee per family
