Strategy –  Declare the Gospel
Disciple the Believer
Deploy the Church

  • We desire to be a church that reflects heaven; a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, group of worshipers who are captivated by and surrendered to Jesus. (Rev. 7:9-17)
  • We desire to be a family where broken lives can encounter the healing power of Jesus. (John 4:1-35; 8:1-11)
  • We desire to declare God’s Word through singing, preaching, and evangelism. We believe it is our responsibility and privilege to share the good news of Jesus wherever we go. (Rom. 10:13-17; Col. 3:16; Matt. 28:19-20)
  • We desire to become fully devoted disciples who are being transformed to look more like Jesus and are committed to knowing and obeying the Bible, loving one another, and making disciples of all nations. (2 Cor. 3:18; 5:14-21; 1 Thess. 4:3-7)
  • We desire to train the next generation of pastors, church planters, missionaries, parents, and professionals who will serve their communities and point others to Jesus. (2 Tim. 2:2; Titus 2:1-10; Luke 10:1-3)
  • We desire to deploy people to the edges of Oconee County and to the end of the world as ambassadors of Christ, armed with the gospel and filled with the Spirit. (2 Cor. 5:18-20; Acts 1:8; Eph. 5:18; Acts 5:28-32)
  • We desire to sow the gospel seed to thousands of people every year and help people who are far from God trust Jesus, join the SBC family, and enter into a process of discipleship. (Mark 4:26-29; 1 Cor. 3:6-7; Luke 10:2)
  • We desire to see Jesus glorified in all that we do. (Matt. 5:16; 1 Cor. 10:31; 3:20-21)
