Seneca Baptist Church Family,

We are so excited to regather inside our building on August 2 at 10:30am. We have enjoyed gathering and worshipping in our parking lot, but there’s nothing like hearing voices raised together to Jesus. I think we have all realized the importance of the command to assemble although we have found out that it’s not the place but the assembly that is powerful.

As we regather for worship, we must conduct ourselves with wisdom, safety, social distancing, and respect as we do not want to jeopardize the health and well-being of our families, friends, and neighbors. Below are guidelines to help us gather safely:

  • Services will be streamed on Facebook Live for those who choose to stay home.
  • If you are sick, feel poorly, or have any symptoms, please stay home and do not enter the building.
  • Masks will not be required, but encouraged. Please wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. Masks will be available at the welcome center if needed.
  • We will have hand sanitizer available for your use.
  • When you enter, the doors will be propped open for your convenience. Please do not gather and fellowship in the foyer.
  • Please sit at a safe distance, respectful of your brothers and sisters, and act responsibly understanding the serious nature of the virus.
  • The offering plates will not be passed, there will be Offering/Prayer Request boxes at the doors of the sanctuary.
  • We will not be having Children’s Church with Mrs. Laura during worship.
  • We will have an optional childcare for preschool children only (4 yrs. and under).
  • After the service is over, we will dismiss by sections.
  • Sunday School classes will not regather on campus yet, but are welcome to gather in homes, if they are able to maintain proper social distancing and cleaning before and after the meeting.

We are so thankful for what God has done in our parking lot and community. Now we look forward to how the Holy Spirit of God will reveal His power in our church in the days ahead. In light of all that is going on, I encourage each of us to be kind, compassionate, full of grace toward one another, understanding, and putting the interests of others ahead of our own.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I can’t wait to see you in the sanctuary.

Pastor Ryan
